What is an agent diagram update?

An agent diagram update is counted when a successful persisted change to a diagram creates a new revision. Reads, failed requests, validation-only requests, and existing-revision diffs do not count as updates.

Do you charge per seat?

Free and Builder are single-user plans. Growth includes unlimited members because Zindex is built for agent-native workflows. The value comes from automated diagram updates, not from charging every human who views a diagram.

Why is Builder only $5/month?

Builder is designed to make the first paid upgrade easy. It is for individual developers, students, open-source maintainers, and early builders who are using Zindex regularly.

Do renders count as updates?

No. A render turns an existing diagram scene into SVG or PNG output. An update changes persisted diagram state and creates a new revision.

What happens if I hit my monthly update limit?

Persisted updates pause until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade. Existing diagrams remain accessible, and read requests continue to work.

Is Free just a trial?

No. Free is a permanent plan with monthly limits.

Can I self-host Zindex?

Self-hosted, VPC, or dedicated deployment options are handled through Enterprise where supported.
