Connect your AI
Zindex's MCP server is at one URL. Add it to your AI app; there is nothing to install.
https://api.zindex.ai/mcp You don't need an account to start. Your AI can check and preview diagrams right away. The first time it needs your account, usually to save a diagram, your app opens a Zindex page. Sign in or create a free account, then choose Allow. Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and ChatGPT sign you in this way, with no API key.
Claude
In claude.ai or the Claude desktop app, add a custom connector with the URL above. Claude opens the Zindex page when you connect, or the first time a tool needs your account.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http zindex https://api.zindex.ai/mcp Then run /mcp in a session, choose zindex and authenticate.
Cursor
Sign in when Cursor asks.
VS Code
Sign in when VS Code asks.
ChatGPT
On the web, turn on developer mode, then add a connector with the URL above and OAuth sign-in. ChatGPT opens the Zindex page the first time a tool needs your account.
Other apps
Any MCP client that connects over Streamable HTTP can use the URL above. If yours can't sign in, it can send an API key instead. For apps that only run local servers, the npm package @zindexai/mcp forwards to the same server, with an API key instead of sign-in.
After you connect
Every app you allow is listed under Dashboard → API keys → Connected apps, where you can disconnect it. Scripts and the REST API use an API key instead, as Connect with an API key shows.
